#2)  Crone Circle
6 Tuesday Mornings, Feb 20 – Mar 20
9:30 am – 12 noon

Oh noooo! I hate this “getting older” thing!

Dear Friends,

AGING is not very much fun, but it can be!  In 2017 I facilitated two “Crone” Circles.  The second group is now in their third round of meetings (aka Crone Grad School) !  And yes, we are having fun.

What’s a Crone?

The very word implies a wrinkled, hunchbacked old woman, unwanted and unloved. Women  reaching an advanced age are often dismissed as useless hags, with nothing to celebrate.  Times are changing, and more and more women are welcoming this aspect of their lives. Why not celebrate this next phase of life with some like-minded women?

Each Week

We will share stories, discuss important questions, read poetry, sing & dance, practice mindfulness through guided meditation, written exercises and a bit of homework.  Each session will begin with Celebration and conclude with Discovery & Intention.

To Register and Pay

Send me an e-mail message saying “Sign me up for the next Crone Circle.”  Include any questions.  Payments can be made by check or PayPal here:

Power of the Crone by Clarissa Pinkola Estes
“Entering the terrain of wisdom occurs at any age.
We sometimes step, sometimes stumble, and at other times

we are pulled into the territory of the Crone
when the need for a deeper, larger understanding

of our most meaningful path can no longer be denied;
when the gifts hidden in our challenges must be brought forth.”

None of us are getting out of here alive,
so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.
Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean.
Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure.
Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else.
